This customer approached us looking to upgrade their existing low profile pallet wrapper. The customer is a high volume user and needed a powered prestretch pallet wrapper for improved wrap efficiency.
The Mytho S overcame many issues and features many upgrades with their previous pallet wrapper.
Low profile pallet wrapper ramps
The previous ramps while said to be lower and shorter than ours has 2 major issues, they don't bolt down and they're too short. This created a problem where the ramps would stick up and now be flush to the ground.
We hadn't bolted these ramps into the ground yes as the machine position may not be final, however you can see how well the ramps sit flash to the concrete, this creates a smooth income to push the pallet jacks up easily.

All Atlanta carriages are mounted at the side of the machine, not only is this a safer design to protect the carriage as sometimes a user may overload the machine and damage front mounted carriages. It also protects the users as the carriage is away from the control side of the machine.
The next advantage is the carriage wraps lower to the pallet as the carriage is next to the base plate. Many machines for some unknown reason use front mounted carriages, these carriages are mounted in a variety of odd ways. such as cutting into the base frame compromising its integrity to move the machine, mounted on an angle or removing safety features such as the anti foot crush device.
Belt drive low profile
The next major design feature the ATLANTA STRETCH low profile wrapper has over other low profiles is its belt drive for the turntable.
Low profile machines feature a solid steel base frame, if not perfectly flat the machine can move. This while not be an issue immediately it will have long term effects on the machines life expectancy. When the pallet rotates excessive movement of the machine leads to: warping of the structure, working of the turntable, damage to bearings, damage to components such as gears or chains.
The Belt drives overcomes these issues, by absorbing shock and vibration, like a cars timing belt its not solid, the belt allows for absorption of vibration when rotating leaving.
Because low profile machine are commonly used in food production areas where space is limited, these machines are often damp. the belt drive is naturally resistant to rusting where things like chains or gears drive machines are prone to rusting.

Low profile bearings
One of the next major advantages of the ATLANTA STRETCH low profile wrapper is its use of high quality bearings. This customer was previously replacing upto 10 bearings per service with their last low profile wrapper. at $80 a pop, the service price adds up quick. Where customers have switched form other brands of low profile to ours they see a significant reduction in replacement bearings frequency.
(we're still at 0 replaced after 5 years with Atlanta Stretch)

The Mytho S features an easy to use interface, the client was able to easily switch between 3 preprogrammed settings. for their different pallet heights.
