At MPS Packaging, strapping has been our passion for over 45 years. Our logo still features the iconic steel strapping with manual sealless joint our company was built on.

The Ergostrap pallet strapping system

The system features a patented guide that moves the plastic strapping around the pallet with ease, while the operator stays in an upright position, reducing physical stress.

The chain lance
The Ergostrap Chain Lance is a key component of the Ergostrap pallet strapping system, designed to streamline the strapping process and make it more ergonomic.
The Chain Lance guides the strapping material under and around the pallet in a smooth, automated motion. Unlike traditional manual methods, which require workers to bend down or crawl under the pallet, the Chain Lance allows the entire strapping process to be done while standing upright, greatly reducing the risk of physical strain or injury.

The process

Step one
Roll the ErgoPack in front of the pallet. The ChainLance pulls the strap through under the pallet.

Step two
Up again on the rear side and over the pallet into the hand of the operator. The ChainLance retracts.

The strap lifter brings the 2nd strap end. The sealing head welds the strap securely

MPS Premium PET
Our Premium anti split machine PET is the optimal choice for the Ergostrap unit.
We have 16-19mm made in south Korea, packed with anti split additive and using only the best raw materials. While our 12mm Machine grade PET is made in the country of origin of the Ergostrap unit, Germany. -
MPS Premium Strapping
If you're buying a premium unit such as an Ergostrap unit, it demands premium strapping. Using cheap brittle strapping with poor quality control, leads to strapping jams, tools clogging and faster wear of parts.

Machine grade PP
If you plan to use Poly propproperline on the ergostrap unit, thats no problem, we have Polyproperline avalible in 406mm machine cores. Commonly used on high speed strapping machines. Our machine grade PP is the optimal choice for the Ergostrap unit. Please enquire with sales on this product as its not currently avalible online.
