If the clear and black pallet wrap are the same gauge and extrusion process, black wrap can be stronger the the black masterbatch to make the black wrap contains metallocene. Otherwise it really shouldn't be stronger.

Why does black film cost more than clear film?

The black masterbatch to make the black wrap is more costly than the clear wrap, so this increases the price, the black wrap also contains carbon, this means the machine that makes black wrap wont last as long for the manufacturer before it needs to be replaced. this is also factored into the cost.

Is black wrap better in UV than clear?

Yes black wrap is better in the sun the clear, as the UV light cant penetrate the black and degrade the film like it does clear. Black wrap will still degrade in the sun, but not as fast as clear.

If i wrap a pallet in black can i see through is?

No once a pallet is wrapped in 2-3 layers of black stretch film you wont be able to see through it.
