We recently sold 3 of our newest configuration pallet wrappers to a Melbourne distribution company.
The wrappers sold were on the Synthesis platform, this is our midrange machine. platform which can now come with all carriage types.
The client already had our Eva pallet wrapper, which had preformed well in the years that had had, it, but with his upgraded distribution needs he needed 3 new wrapper. The Synthesi PRS was slected for its durability and film saving.
The XF-4113 version of the synthesi uses the "PRS" prestretch carriage, capable of stretching 1m of wrap into 3m.
The Atlanta Stretch Synthesi Platform
The Atlanta Stretch Synthesi is one of the most popular pallet wrappers in the Atlanta range. It sits in the mid-range of the lineup, offering a strong industrial design while still remaining extremely flexible and cost effective.
One of the major advantages of the Synthesi platform is its modular construction. Because the machine shares the same core structure as larger Atlanta Stretch machines, it can be configured with multiple carriage types and upgrade options, allowing the machine to be tailored to different wrapping applications.

The PRS Powered Prestretch Carriage
The PRS carriage is Atlanta Stretch’s powered prestretch system designed to maximise stretch film efficiency while maintaining excellent load stability.
Unlike simple friction brake machines that only apply drag to the film roll, the PRS carriage uses motor driven rollers to mechanically stretch the film before it reaches the pallet.
This means the machine is not simply pulling the film tighter — it is actually stretching the film in a controlled way before application.
The result is two major benefits:

The PRS carriage used on the XF-4113 Synthesi can stretch 1 metre of film into approximately 3 metres, which equates to a 200% prestretch ratio.
The PRS carriage also uses polyurethane rollers, which last significantly longer than standard rubber rollers.
Why Powered Prestretch Saves So Much Film
Many warehouses still wrap pallets using hand wrapping or friction brake pallet wrappers.
While these systems work, they tend to consume much more film because the wrap is applied directly from the roll with limited stretching.
A powered prestretch pallet wrapper, like the Synthesi PRS, stretches the film before it reaches the pallet.
This provides several advantages:
More Pallets Wrapped Per Roll
Because the film is stretched to three times its length, the same roll can wrap significantly more pallets compared to hand wrapping or simple brake machines.
