If you've been searching for a Signode BXT3 battery strapping tool, you've probably noticed they're becoming increasingly difficult to find. The simple answer is no. Signode has officially discontinued the BXT3 range in favour of the newer BXT4 series.
While the BXT3 built a strong reputation for reliability, durability and ease of use, Signode has a long history of replacing existing product lines rather than manufacturing multiple generations side by side. Even highly successful tools are often discontinued shortly after a new model is introduced, meaning once dealer stock is exhausted, there are no new BXT3 tools available.
Why Was the BXT3 Discontinued?

Following customer feedback, Signode later introduced the BXT4 GO.
The BXT4 GO strips back many of the premium electronic features found on the standard BXT4 and offers a simpler, more familiar operating experience. While it still belongs to the BXT4 family, it has been designed as a more affordable and straightforward tool, appealing to customers who preferred the simplicity of previous generations.
Although it doesn't bring the BXT3 back, it does provide an option for businesses wanting a less complex battery strapping tool.
Can You Still Buy a New BXT3?
Unfortunately, no.
Once remaining dealer inventory has been sold, there will be no further production of the BXT3. This has been Signode's approach with previous generations as well. Rather than continuing to manufacture multiple product lines simultaneously, production is switched entirely to the latest generation.
You may occasionally find used or refurbished BXT3 tools on the market, but brand-new units are now extremely rare and generally unavailable.
Should You Buy a Used BXT3?
