It is always a great sign when a customer comes back for another pallet wrapper It is even better when they come back for two.
Earlier this year, MPS supplied an Atlanta Stretch MYTHO S pallet wrapper to a major Sydney distribution company handling a high volume of pallets every day. The customer was already familiar with the MYTHO S platform and selected another machine to increase capacity while maintaining the reliability and low-maintenance design they required in a busy distribution environment.
Following the success of their Sydney operation, the same customer has now expanded their fleet again, purchasing two additional Atlanta Stretch pallet wrapping machines for their Brisbane distribution centre.
This time, the customer selected two different machines to suit the requirements of the Brisbane site: an Atlanta Stretch MYTHO S and an Atlanta Stretch SYNTHESI PRS.
Building on a Successful Sydney Installation
For large distribution companies, purchasing machinery is rarely just about the initial purchase price. Reliability, film consumption, operator usability, spare parts availability and ongoing technical support can have a much greater impact over the life of the machine.
The customer's decision to purchase another two machines after their Sydney installation is a great example of why we focus on supplying pallet wrappers that can become a standard platform across multiple warehouses.
Rather than introducing completely different machines, controls and spare parts at every location, businesses can standardise their pallet wrapping equipment while still selecting the right configuration for each individual site.

Reducing Pallet Wrap Costs Across the Operation
Supplying the machine is only one part of what we look at.
MPS Packaging also works with customers to optimise the pallet wrap being used through their machines. The combination of the correct machine film, powered pre-stretch and appropriate machine settings can significantly reduce the amount of plastic required per pallet while still producing a secure and consistent load.
This is particularly important for large distribution operations. Saving even a relatively small amount of film on each pallet becomes significant when multiplied across hundreds or thousands of pallets.
Powered pre-stretch also provides more control over how film is applied. Instead of simply increasing film tension in an attempt to secure a pallet, the machine can efficiently stretch the film before application and use its recovery characteristics to help hold the load together.
One Customer, Multiple Distribution Centres
This Brisbane installation represents more than simply another two pallet wrappers delivered by MPS Packaging.
It demonstrates how a successful pallet wrapping solution can be expanded across a customer's distribution network.
The customer now has Atlanta Stretch pallet wrapping equipment operating across both its Sydney and Brisbane facilities, giving it greater consistency in its pallet wrapping process while still allowing each site to use the machine configuration best suited to its requirements.
For businesses operating multiple warehouses or distribution centres around Australia, standardising pallet wrapping equipment can also simplify operator training, servicing, spare parts and future machine purchases.
Pallet Wrapping Machines for Australian Distribution Centres
MPS supplies a wide range of semi-automatic, automatic, robotic and specialised pallet wrapping machines for Australian warehouses and distribution centres.
From straightforward friction-brake machines through to powered pre-stretch and automatic film attachment systems, we can configure a pallet wrapping solution around the number of pallets being wrapped, pallet dimensions, load weight, loading method and required level of automation.
Just as importantly, we can work with customers beyond the first installation. As their operations expand into additional warehouses or interstate distribution centres, we can help maintain a consistent pallet wrapping platform across their business.
For this customer, what started with pallet wrapping equipment in Sydney has now continued with another MYTHO S and a SYNTHESI PRS in Brisbane — further expanding their Atlanta Stretch fleet and their relationship with MPS Packaging Australia.
