Great Wrap is made from compostable biopolymers and plant-based materials, helping you reduce carbon emissions by up to 60% compared to traditional stretch wrap.
The yellow additive in our wrap (to make it easier for to differentiate between Great wrap and traditional pallet wrap and ensure the correct wrap goes in the correct place) is made with natural plant fibres and 100% compostable.
Even the desiccant sachets inside the pallet wrap boxes are 100% compostable as they are made with calcium chloride and Montmorillonite clay.
How to dispose of your Great Wrap?
If your workplace has a composting system, be sure to dispose of your used Great Wrap in it — it will fully break down in less than 180 days.
If composting isn’t available, you can place it in your regular waste stream. Although it takes longer to decompose than in organic recycling, Great Wrap still breaks down significantly faster than traditional plastic stretch wrap in landfills and won’t leave harmful microplastics behind.
