What Strapping can I use with the Steel Strapping Tensioner?

The ADL1 Steel Strapping Tensioner can be used with 12-19mm Steel Strapping - ranging from .40mm to .60mm in gauge. The strapping must be waxed coated. (All MPS Packaging Australia black and green strap is waxed coated)

What sort of products can I strap with this tool?

The ADL1 Steel Strapping Tensioner (YBICO S290) is designed to be used on flat surfaces and requires approximately a 1-foot flat surface to mount the tensioner. It
can be used for general purpose strapping of timber, warehouse palletised goods, or shipping crates.

Do you offer repairs on the Steel Strapping Tensioner?

Yes! We stock a range of parts for the ADL1 Steel Strapping Tensioner / S290 YBICO tensioner we can repair them for you or dispatch the parts you require.

Do I need anything else with this tool to strap products?

Yes, you will.
The ADL1 only tensions the strap. To secure the goods you will need a seal and a crimper (sealer) along with the steel strapping. We typically recommend the use of SO seals (snap on seals) with this tensioner.

Do you sell battery powered steel tensioners?

We do stock Battery Powered Steel Strapping Tensioners but they’re typically only used in the sheet metal or steel industry. For regular users a manual tensioner like our MUL20 is actually much faster.

Do you have an option for larger strapping?

Yes, we offer steel strapping tensioners for up to 32mm wide strapping.
