The cutters are most effective with tougher straps such as steel, PET (polyester), or composite strapping, but they can also handle woven and polypropylene materials. They are capable of cutting steel strapping up to 32mm x 0.8mm in size. However, cutting through the full width of 32mm strap under tension might be challenging if the cutters cannot be fully inserted beneath the strap. For consistent cutting of 32mm strap, we suggest using our long-handled (AEE4) strap cutters.
