Operational steps

  1. Feeding and detection - is transported along motorised conveyor belts or roller conveyors to the wrapping station. Once in position, a sensor detects the load and synchronises the rotation of the wrapping ring with the conveyor speed, ensuring a smooth, continuous, and consistent application of the stretch film throughout the wrapping process.

2. Film application - The rotating ring revolves around the load while applying stretch film. Through its precisely coordinated movement, the film is applied evenly and under consistent tension, securely wrapping the load with multiple layers according to the selected wrapping programme.

3. Cut and finish - Once the wrapping cycle is complete, the rotating ring stops applying the stretch film and returns to its starting position. Simultaneously, the system automatically clamps, cuts, and prepares the film for the next load, minimising downtime and ensuring a continuous, efficient wrapping process.

Characteristics

  • Aluminum alloy crown - The lightweight rotating ring weighs up to three times less than a conventional steel ring, significantly reducing rotational inertia. This enables rotation speeds of up to 120 rpm, delivering faster wrapping cycles, smoother operation, and improved overall machine performance
  • Reel holder with pre-stretch system - The system pre-stretches the film through an interchangeable gear system, optimising film usage and delivering significant savings in consumable materials while maintaining excellent load stability.
  • Fastening and cutting system with reinforced stem and concealed blade - A more robust design increases machine durability and reliability, while enhanced safety features provide greater protection during cleaning and maintenance operations.
  • Automatic positioning system for clamps - The automatic exit gripper adjusts to the height of the package, ensuring a secure and reliable grip throughout the process. This optimisation enables higher production rates and improved operational efficiency
