ITIPACK ITI-23 Battery Powered PET Strapping Tool

The ITIPACK ITI-23 is a heavy-duty battery powered strapping tool designed specifically for high-tension PET strapping applications. Manufactured in Italy by ITIPACK, the ITI-23 is built for demanding industries where higher strap tension, reliability and simple operation are essential.

Designed for 16mm and 19mm PET strapping, the ITI-23 is particularly well suited to heavy products including timber, bricks, building materials, steel products, ingots and other industrial loads. Its friction welding system creates a strong, consistent joint without requiring separate metal seals, helping make the strapping process faster and more efficient.

Built for High-Tension PET Strapping

Where many general-purpose battery strapping tools are designed around lighter 12mm, 13mm and 16mm strapping, the ITI-23 is designed specifically for heavier PET applications.

Its compatibility with 16mm and 19mm PET strapping makes it an excellent option for businesses looking to replace steel strapping in suitable applications or those already using heavy-duty polyester strapping.

PET strapping provides excellent retained tension and shock absorption, making the ITI-23 particularly useful for securing heavy or rigid products during handling, storage and transport.

Simple, Reliable Italian Design

The ITI-23 follows ITIPACK's philosophy of producing robust industrial strapping equipment with a focus on simplicity, reliability and serviceability.

Rather than making the tool unnecessarily complicated, the ITI-23 provides operators with straightforward control over the strapping process. This makes it particularly attractive for demanding industrial environments where a strapping tool may be used repeatedly throughout the working day.

Manufactured in Italy, the ITI-23 is designed as a professional industrial tool rather than a lightweight general-purpose strapping tool.

Battery Powered Operation

The ITI-23 provides the portability of a battery powered strapping tool without requiring an air compressor or pneumatic airline. This allows operators to move around large products, pallets and packs without being restricted to a fixed strapping station.

ITIPACK specifies the ITI-23 with a 3Ah lithium-polymer battery, providing a practical portable solution for industrial strapping operations.

This makes the ITI-23 particularly useful in timber yards, steel yards, warehouses and manufacturing facilities where the operator may need to strap products in different locations throughout the site.

Where Can the ITI-23 Be Used?

The ITI-23 is designed for demanding industrial applications where strong PET strapping and higher tension are required. It is particularly suitable for timber yards, sawmills, and steel distribution where large packs of timber need to remain tightly bundled during handling and transport.

It is also well suited to the brick, paver and building-product industries, where dense and heavy palletised loads require considerably more securing force than typical cartons or warehouse products.

The ITI-23 can also be used across steel processing, metal products, ingots, manufacturing, recycling and heavy warehousing. Its battery operation is especially useful in yards and large facilities because operators are not restricted by pneumatic airlines.

Why Choose the ITIPACK ITI-23?

The ITIPACK ITI-23 is a strong choice for businesses that have outgrown smaller general-purpose PET strapping tools and require a machine designed around heavier polyester strap.

Its combination of 16mm and 19mm PET compatibility, high-tension capability, battery-powered portability and Italian manufacture makes it particularly suited to demanding industrial environments.

For timber, bricks, steel, building products and other heavy loads, the ITI-23 provides a practical way to achieve the benefits of heavy-duty PET strapping while retaining the convenience and mobility of a battery powered tool.

Aluminium Base plate

The ITIPack range of battery strapping tools use an aluminum base plates. The base plate is lightweight, making the tool easier to handle, but also increasing its robustness. Most other tools use cast steel as for the base plate which is prone to cracking and more brittle than aluminum.

Twinmotor, Direct drive

The standard range of ITI tools use two independent motors to drive the tensioning and welding of the tool. This design does away with many complexities of the tool and expensive parts such as belt wheels, bevel pinion, planetary gears and increased microswitches from its design.

This reduced complexity reduces the maintence requirments and total cost of ownership of the tool.

LED Screen

The Standard range of ITItools battery strapping tools use a highly reliable LED screen which is simple to use, but also reliable to use in harsher environments.

Tension and welding settings are settable through the LCD screen along with displaying its strapping count for maintenance and error messages.

Manual welding lever

The ItIpack manual welding tool is one feature that makes that tools exceptionally reliable. With its reduced complexity, the tool does not require an extra servo motor to function, reducing the cost to you but also greatly reducing maintenance overtime.

Makita Powered

ITIPack tools when purchased through MPS are sold with genuine Makita batteries. Our batteries come with a 24 Month Battery warranty from Makita.

Long life feedwheel

ITIPack tools have proven to be the market leader in feedwheel life. As one of the main wearing parts of the tool, choosing a tool which has longer life parts will greatly reduce the cost of ownership of the tool.

ITIPack tools use a chisel style feedwheel rather than toothed style, this greatly adds to the life off the feedwheel.

Aftersales support

To MPS a strapping tool sale isn't just a once off sale, its going to be over a decade long relationship for aftersales support, maintenance, service and parts.

Inhouse Strapping tool repairs and parts

When it comes to strapping tools, repairs are inevitable. But MPS believe in fast turn around for strapping tool repairs, So we employ inhouse technicians and stock spare parts to get your strapping again soon.
