At MPS we've primarily a strapping company, established in 1977 we were one of the first independent importers of steel strapping. Its why strapping is in our logo.

With the introduction of PET strapping tools MPS have been selling Transpak tools for over 20 years. MPS imports the XST-46 directly and stock all parts, offering timely turnaround on any repairs or maintenance.

The XST-46 Kronos is an advanced battery-powered strapping tool designed for superior performance. With its customizable settings, wide tension range, and compatibility with both PP and PET strapping, it meets the demands of various industries.

Inhouse Strapping tool repairs and parts

Not all tool providers are equal when it comes to repairs and parts inventory, MPS Packaging employs inhouse technicians & stocks parts. This is to get you up and running again fast.

Yes the wall it filled with XST-46 parts. Many shops treat their battery powered tools as throw away items, where the simplest problem would have you replacing the tool, we can fix small or large problems.

Typically we supply this tool with 1x Bosch 4AH batteries included in the price.

Yes, we're not just an online shop, we have a dedicated workshops and technicians in multiple states.

Do you stock parts for these?

Yes, MPS packaging stock all parts for the H46B, Pretty sure we're the only importer in the country who does.

My old tool wears out feedwheels and grippers really fast, will this one?

Brought an Asian made yellow and black tool didnt you? No the H46B's feedwheels are contactless, that means if an operator hits the tension button without strap in the tool the parts wont grind against each other and blunt themselves.

How many straps will this tool do before it needs a charge?

It does depend on the settings, on higher welding times you would get less, but typically you would get min 200 straps.

How does this tool stick the strapping together?

This is what is called a friction weld strapping tool, the tool forces the two layers of strap together by rubbing them together at a fast rate, this friction generates heat, melts the plastic and sticks them together. There is no glure or consumable used for this process.
