How do I dispose of my compostable stretch wrap?

If your workplace has a composting system, be sure to dispose of used wrap there — it will break down in under 180 days. If composting isn't available, the next best option is your regular waste stream. Although decomposition takes longer than in an organic recycling environment, it still breaks down significantly faster than traditional plastic stretch wrap and won’t leave behind microplastics.

Why is the compostable stretch wrap yellow?

The machine pallet wrap features a subtle yellow tint, making it easy for end users to distinguish it from traditional plastic wrap. This tint is derived from natural plant fibers and is 100% compostable. While the wrap looks similar to conventional pallet wrap when applied, the yellow color becomes more noticeable when the wrap is removed or viewed on the roll.
