A translucent, easy-tear rayon cloth tape with a differential modified dispersion acrylate adhesive system, supplied with a white silicon release paper liner. It is designed to be applied to the floor surface first on the lower-tack side and is ideal for the temporary holding of exhibition floor coverings.

DOUBLE SIDED CLOTH EXHIBITION GRADE CARPET TAPE FEATURES

  • Developed specifically for the European Exhibition Industry to ensure compatibility with the temporary flooring surfaces commonly used in that sector.
  • Features a differential coat weight of a special acrylic dispersion adhesive, providing more than twice the tack on the linered (carpet-tile) side.
  • Constructed with a strong yet conformable rayon cloth backing that can be easily torn by hand.
  • Equipped with a heavy-weight, siliconized white paper release liner that resists tearing during removal.
  • Supplied in 25-metre rolls; while 18 mm is the standard width for exhibition use, any width can be produced, and wider widths are generally recommended for edging applications to help prevent trip hazards.

  • Permanent Carpet & Vinyl Installation: The 1362 tape is particularly effective for laying PVC flooring and foam-backed carpets, offering excellent resistance to plasticisers.

DOUBLE SIDED CLOTH EXHIBITION GRADE CARPET TAPE BENEFITS

  • Suitable for use on concrete, stone, vinyl, and wooden surfaces, and may also work with certain carpet finishes.
  • Removes cleanly without breaking or leaving residue on stable surfaces; however, testing is recommended as surface treatments can affect performance.
  • Easy to apply and remove the liner; ideally used in its 25-metre length to avoid hand-tearing, though scissors or a safe-bladed knife may be needed.
  • Designed to remain adhered to the exhibition floor when carpet tiles are removed, allowing tiles to be stacked without adhesive transfer; the tape can then be lifted cleanly, even after forklift traffic.
  • The acrylic adhesive system makes it especially suitable for use on vinyl floor finishes.

This tape is designed for the temporary holding of nearly all types of floor coverings and can also be used for temporary repairs and handcraft projects. It is suitable for retail carpet and vinyl installations, including vinyls and PVC foam backings, as well as for advertising, point-of-sale, and display applications, thanks to its hand-tearable and conformable properties.
