Frequently Asked Questions

Where is the Composite Strapping made?

All of our composite strapping is made in Germany.

Why use Composite strapping over Steel or PET Strapping?

Middle of the range in price, Composite strapping offers an OHS advantage over
steel by having no sharp edges and therefor being safer for users.
The setup cost is relatively cheap compared to a manual PET or BET battery tool setup.

What industries is Composite strapping useful for?

Many industries use composite strapping such as warehousing, timber and
distribution - but it is excellent for engineering and mechanical business as the composite has a smooth and soft surface that does not damage painted or sandblasted steel.

What tools or other items do I need with this strapping?

All you need is the strapping, a tensioner and wire buckles. A dispenser for the strapping is also recommended and makes life easier, such as our PZZ11 Strapping dispenser.

What Tensioner do I use with the composite strapping?

You will need to use a woven/cord tensioner, either our PXB3 Composite & Woven strapping tensioner or our USA made PC100 cord strapping tensioner.
