The AS100 tensioner is compatible with 12-19mm strapping with a gauge ranging from .40mm to .64mm, provided that the strapping is wax-coated. Designed for application on flat surfaces, it necessitates approximately one foot of flat surface for mounting. Suitable for a variety of uses including general strapping of timber, warehouse palletized goods, or shipping crates.

The AS100 12–19mm Standard USA HD Steel Strapping Tensioner is compatible with 12–19mm steel strapping in gauges ranging from 0.40mm to 0.64mm. The strapping must be wax-coated (All MPS Packaging Australia black and green strapping is wax-coated.)


What sort of products can be strapped using the 12–19mm Standard USA HD Steel Strapping Tensioner?

The AS100 designed to be used on flat surfaces. It requires approximately a 1-foot flat surface to mount the tensioner. It can be used for general purpose strapping of timber, warehouse palletised goods, or shipping crates.

Do I need anything else with this tool to strap products?

Yes you will, The AS100 only tensions strapping. To secure the
goods you will need a seal and a crimper along with the steel strapping.  We typically recommend the use of SO seals (snap on seals) with this tensioner. For a sealer in our USA range please refer to the AS150-12, AS150-16 OR AS150-19 sealer.
