PALLET BAGS

Pallet bags are large, heavy-duty plastic covers designed to protect palletised goods from dust, dirt, and moisture during storage or transport. MPS Pallet bags are made from LDPE. Pallet bags can be placed over the entire load before or after wrapping, creating an extra barrier against environmental exposure, especially for products stored outdoors or in damp conditions. They are an effective and economical solution for improving load protection, maintaining product cleanliness, and ensuring goods arrive at their destination in optimal condition.

LDPE MATERIAL


LDPE pallet bags are made from low-density polyethylene, a flexible and durable plastic material known for its excellent resistance to moisture, dust, and punctures. These bags are designed to cover and protect palletised loads, keeping products clean and secure during storage and transport. The soft, stretchable nature of LDPE allows the bags to conform easily to different load shapes, while maintaining strong protection against the elements. Commonly used in warehouses, food processing, and manufacturing environments, LDPE pallet bags are an economical and reliable way to safeguard goods and extend the lifespan of packaging materials.

40UM MATERIAL

40um LDPE refers to low-density polyethylene film that is 40 microns thick (where “um” stands for micrometres). This thickness gives the film a good balance between flexibility and strength.

What's the most common material to make pallet bags in?

LDPE is generally the most common choice of pallet bags due to its price and shorter production runs availability.

How strong is 50um?

Good question! Your standard shopping bag at supermarkets or a bin bag is around 8-12um, a 40um bag is closer to the strength of a standard sandwich bag, Probably abit stronger than your average bag. It offers decent protection, but for customers really worried about puncturing or tearing with goods travelling a considerable distance, then we would suggest our 100um shrink pallet bags.
