About PET Strapping

Polyester (PET) strapping is a high-performance material that combines the durability of steel with the flexibility of polypropylene (PP), while overcoming the drawbacks of both. Thanks to its excellent strength and reliability, PET strapping is an ideal replacement for steel strapping. It is highly versatile and commonly used to secure a wide range of industrial products, from heavy and bulky goods such as steel, paper, and fiber bales to items like cans, bottles, stones, bricks, and electrical appliances.

PET Strap Grades

MPS sells PET strapping in several grades. Our most popular ones are:

STANDARD RECYCLED GRADE - recycled blend for hand tool application
MPS PREMIUM MACHINE GRADE - recycled and virgin blend for hand and machines)
MPS HEAVY DUTY GRADE - virgin blend for the ultimate hold of the welding joint and strength.

Custom PET Strapping Colours

If you’d like your PET strapping to stand out from the standard green, black, and grey options, it can be custom-made in your preferred colour. Please note, however, that custom-coloured PET generally requires a minimum order of one full container, which equals 480 rolls.
