Founded in 1928 in Schwelm, Germany by the Timmerbeil
brothers – TITAN quickly built a reputation for innovation that continues today. In 1998, TITAN was acquired by the Lenzen family, who bring over 100 years of experience in steel strapping—through their company P.W. Lenzen, which dates all the way back to 1842.
TITAN manufactures high-quality strapping tools, heads, full
systems, along with steel and PET strapping and a wide range of accessories—all produced in their own facilities.
Today, TITAN is recognised as one of the leading global
players in the strapping industry, with operations across Europe, the Americas, and Asia.
Their headquarters remain in Schwelm, Germany, where their
research, development, and engineering teams are based. All TITAN tools, strapping heads, machines, and control systems are designed, engineered, and tested there. They also run their own advanced manufacturing facilities, including mechanical workshops and modern assembly lines, with both steel and PET strapping produced in Germany.
