My pallet wrapper has Error 16 | Atlanta stretch error 16

Okay your pallet wrapper is displaying error code 16 on an Atlanta stretch Pallet wrapper, this ones an easy one. 

Some background into on error 16
For safety, Atlanta stretch pallet wrappers have the 230v and 24v separate from each other, our main board doesn’t receive 240v. Error 16 basically means the 230v power has been disconnected and has to be physically enabled.

 If you have the newest touchscreen version, the machine will guide you through on the steps to check.

Pallet wrapper Error 16 on startup

Getting error 16 message on bootup of the machine is perfectly normal, as the power will need to be enabled to the machine. See our guide on starting your Pallet wrapper for more info here.

Press the blue enabling button then, press reset or the alarm clear button the panel

Pallet wrapper Error 16 from emergency stop pushed in

Pressing the emergency stop button in will disable power immediately from the motors and machine power functions, if the emergency stop has been pushed in it will need to be twisted and popped back out. You can then hit the blue reset button, then the alarm clear / reset button.

Error 16 from door open

If you machine is a PRS or PS carriage it will have a door on it, with a safety lock, if this lock or door is opened the machine will go into error mode as the power has been physically disabled to the machine for safety. Close the door, hit the blue enabling button then the reset button or alarm clear button.

I’m still getting error 16

Okay so if you have checked the emergency stop, all safety switches and tried to repower the machine and you’re still getting error messages. there may be something else going on here. The emergency stop button could be broken or a safety latch could be broken, there could also be issue with a cable or connectivity.  at this stage you may need to call a technician to help sort the problem.
