So this client approached us for a large strapping machine, they're doing automotive parts in cartons and wanted to reinforce the cartons with 15mm PP strapping quickly.
They had tried to use their incumbent supplier first but got the message of "thats not on our pricelist" or "our supplier doesn't do that." Thats the issue you face when you use a company who isn't a direct importer of machines. They only want to sell what's easy and in stock with their importer. MPS provide the solution which is right for the customer direct from the manufacturer.

The machine will be later fitted with conveyers once the packaging area is setup.
We decided to use the A93N as the base for this machine, the machine is then extended in sections to make it wider. 2 additional motors are mounted on the arch to help feed the strapping through.
MPS equipped the machine with the following non standard features:
- Electronic tension control, making adjustment of strapping tension quick and easy.
- Auto strap loader - without an auto loader, each time there is a roll change or major jam it would take several minutes to reload the machine. the auto strap loader avoids this and loads the machine quickly and easily.
- Auto strap ejector - I equip this on all automatic machines I sell, without an auto strap ejector if a strap fails you need to unjam it manually, and often reloading the entire accumulator and roll from the start. This customer had previously brought a more basic machine form their incumbent supplier and we were asked what this upgrade was worth on the machine, i told them USD$85.00. they said they would have paid for its them selves if they had of been told this.
The machine is equipped with a large HMI for adjustment of settings and error reporting.
