This mattress manufacturer approached us to wrap large 2100mm x 2100mm pallets. The standard size 1650mm turntable and 2300mm long base frame wasn't going to cut it. Luckily for them we had this Italian made pallet wrapper from Atlanta stretch in stock with a 2200mm turntable and 500mm extended base. 
The 2200mm turntable allowed the stack of mattress pallets to fit...mostly on the turntable. The side bearers and most of the rear and front bottoms boards are on the turntable so the weight is stable on the turntable. The extra 500mm clearance between the turntable and mast allows for the pallets to rotate with adequate clearance.
The Synthesi glass touch screen allowed us to customise the wrapping setting of the machine easily and the customer came quickly up to speed on its operation after minimal training. The Synthesis screen provides shortcuts to all parameters at the press of a single button. There's not need to scroll menus for days to change 1 simple setting.
This Synthesi is equipped with a friction brake carriage, however switching to the Synthesi OPS Carriage was possible at delivery or later if they change their mind due to Atlanta stretches modular design.
This pallet wrapper because of its heavy turntable and requirement for 2000kg capacity is equipped with a larger than normal motor and gearbox as Atlanta stretch is committed to making low maintenance machines and low cost of ownership pallet wrappers
We're not sure how long this pallet would take to wrap by hand, frankly we didn't want to try, but the Synthesi was able to wrap it in accouple of minutes with a high amount of wrapping applied. For safety we had the turntable rotating slower than we would normally on a normal pallet.
However the Synthesi has multiple programable cycles so any user and quickly change between present wrapping settings.
This machine with a 2200mm turntable and 1800mm turntables are now part of our stock lines which we continually bring in. but many more options for custom sizes are available to import from Atlanta or for many customers we modify machines here and extend the base frame to suit their requirements.
