TITAN PLC TENSIONER

The principle of lifting and lashing necessitates highly specific characteristics from both the strap and the strapping tool.

In brief, the straps are employed to hoist loads. Given that the entirety of the loaded cargo’s weight is borne by the strap alone, a substantial strap thickness of 1.45 mm becomes imperative. Consequently, the strapping functions as a slinging apparatus. Conversely, lashing involves fastening the load units together.

PLC PNEUMATIC TENSIONER

Because this procedure holds significant importance in shipping contexts, the tensioner PLC finds utility in securing steel coils within a vessel’s hold. Notably, this mode of load securing demands an exceptional tensioning force, a role for which the PLC proves dependable, capable of delivering up to 20,000 N of force on strap widths of 32 mm.

The PLC exclusively operates as a tensioner, working in tandem with sealers SCR or DCR, which employ crimp seals. These seals permit controlled slippage of the strap within the seal, consequently acting as shock absorbers.
