Pallet bags

Pallet bags are large, heavy-duty plastic covers designed to protect palletised goods from dust, dirt, and moisture during storage or transport. MPS Pallet bags are made from LDPE. Pallet bags can be placed
over the entire load before or after wrapping, creating an extra barrier against environmental exposure, especially for products stored outdoors or in damp conditions. They are an effective and economical
solution for improving load protection, maintaining product cleanliness, and ensuring goods arrive at their destination in optimal condition.

Pallet Compatibility:

These bags are suitable for pallets up to 1600mm in height after subtracting 600mm from the bag length. For optimal fit, you may want to use a slightly shorter pallet, allowing the bag to overhang and shrink more effectively around your goods.

LDPE MATERIAL

LDPE pallet bags are made from low-density polyethylene, a flexible and durable plastic material known for its excellent resistance to moisture, dust, and punctures. These bags are designed to cover and protect palletised loads, keeping products clean and secure during storage and transport. The soft, stretchable nature of LDPE allows the bags to conform easily to different load shapes, while maintaining strong protection against the elements. 100um Material

100um LDPE is a heavy-duty low-density polyethylene film with a thickness of 100 microns, offering superior strength, durability, and protection compared to standard films. This thicker grade is ideal for demanding industrial applications where products require extra resistance to tearing, punctures, or harsh environmental conditions.

Pallet shrink bags

A pallet shrink bag is a large plastic cover made from heat-shrinkable film, designed to protect palletised goods by tightly sealing them once heat is applied. After the bag is placed over the entire pallet load, a heat gun is causing it to conform closely to the shape of the products and the pallet. This creates a secure, tamper-evident, and weather-resistant package that holds the load firmly together during storage or transport. Pallet shrink bags are commonly used in industries such as food, beverage, and construction materials, where strong load stability and protection from moisture, dust, and UV exposure are essential.

What height pallet will the 2% UV LDPE shrink bag suit?

You'll need to reduce the length by 600mm, bringing it to a maximum of 1600mm. It may also be beneficial to use a slightly smaller pallet, allowing the bag to overhang and shrink more effectively around your goods.


How long will these last in the sun for?

With 2% UV we expect them to last over a year in the sun.

How do I shrink the 2% UV LDPE shrink bags?

You will need a gas heat gun to shrink the bags, such as the shrinkwrap heat gun, hose and fittings.
